APGA Governorship Candidate Soludo Assures Of Actualizing Awka Capital City Master Plan

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, in the November sixth governorship election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has revealed his plans of actualizing the Awka capital city master plan.


Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha reports that Professor Soludo made the promise while addressing APGA faithful in Awka South Council Area.


Professor Soludo who stated this while addressing the party faithful and supporters on the occasion of Awka South APGA campaign rally held at Awka old stadium said that among other democratic dividends and projects mapped out to benefit the people of Awka South, transforming Awka to be a befitting capital city of Anambra State is paramount.

He further thanked the people of Awka South for the massive turnout, urging them to show bigger strength on the election day as the election would be decided by the people.

An APGA Chieftain, Chief Azubike Ekweozor during the event, drummed support for Soludo and Ibezim stating that consistency is the hallmark of success.


He assured of delivering Obizi community for APGA and advised other stakeholders to take the campaign to their respective wards to guarantee APGA victory.


The Head of Service, Anambra state Barrister Harry Udu, The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, ASHIA, Dr Simeon Onyemaechi and MD/CEO, Awka Capital Development Authority, Venerable Amaechi Okwosa all attested that APGA has set a benchmark in leadership and governance adding that only APGA government would sustain such legacy.


The Majority Leader, Anambra state House of Assembly and the Member Representing Awka South Constituency one, Honourable Nnamdi Okafor, urged the people of Awka South to participate actively in the election through voting for APGA and ensure they protect their votes.


He asked them to do away with fear as the election will be a peaceful one.


APGA BOT Member Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Jr, Anambra state Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala, Ndi Ozo Awka led by Ozo Jude Agummadu among other prominent individuals attended the rally which attracted thousands of supporters including the youths, women, Hausa community in Awka among others.
