Madrid — Carlo Ancelotti feels bullish about Real Madrid’s chances of winning back-to-back Champions League crowns, despite the fact that bookmakers do not rank them among the top four favorites.

Ancelotti told a news conference in Glasgow on the eve of Tuesday’s opening Group F match against Celtic, “It’s not a surprise that I’m not the odds-on favorite; I believe it’s a good indicator.”

“I believe that last year we had an even lower chance of winning based on the data. This season, we have an upgraded team.

What occurred last year will occur again. We will compete until the very end, and we aim to compete in the final.”

Real Madrid were the underdogs throughout their knockout round matchups against Paris St. Germain, Chelsea, and Manchester City, as well as their final match against Liverpool, but they went on to win a record-extending 14th European Cup trophy.

“In this competition, Real Madrid has always been held in high regard. Ancelotti stated that the history of the club is a part of the history of this competition.
