Anambra State Govt Creates Three New Cadres In Scheme Of Civil Service

Anambra State government has created three new Cadres in its Scheme of Service.

 

They are Transport Officer professional Cadre, Technical Officer Transport Cadre and Transport Assistant Cadre.

 

The creation of the  Ministerial Cadres is in line with the outcome of the forty-first National Council on Establishment meeting in Asaba, Delta state in November 2019.

 

The creation of the three new Cadres was made known through a circular signed by the Anambra State Head of Service, Mrs Theodora Igwegbe.

 

The circular revealed that the three Cadres are to be graded as Transport Officer Professional level Cadre structured on Salary Grade Level eight to seventeen for graduates in Transport Management and other allied disciplines.

 

Similarly, the Technical Officer Transport Cadre Grade-Level six to fourteen is for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma holders in relevant disciplines and Transport Assistant Cadre on Grade Level three to seven for Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.

 

The circular which took effect from January first, 2020 was copied to relevant government ministry and parastatal and noted that the approved Scheme of Service for the three Cadres would be reflected in the next Edition of the Scheme of Service.
