As a follow up to Governor Willie Obiano’s flag-off of the second round of COVID-19 vaccination in Anambra, the State Head of Service, Barrister Harry Uduh, has urged those yet to take the vaccines to do so without delay.

Governor Obiano flagged of the second vaccination exercise while commissioning facilities at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka, and highlighted its benefits.

Barrister Uduh, who was present at the event, among other top Government functionaries, expressed worry over the spread of the virus in so many parts of the world, including Nigeria, and noted that taking the vaccines will help to check the spread.

He explained that as a precautionary measure, he had issued directive that workers and visitors to the State Secretariat Complex, Awka should observe COVID-19 protocols, including putting on facemasks, to ensure safety of all.

On his part, a former Chief Judge of Anambra State, Professor Peter Umeadi, who said he had taken the two jabs of COVID-19 vaccination, urged others take advantage of the availability of the vaccines to get vaccinated to contain the spread of the virus.
