AmaZulu, Mamelodi Sundowns kick-off times confirmed for CAF Champions League

Benni McCarthy’s AmaZulu side will be in action at the Moses Mabhida Stadium against Raja Casablanca on Friday, 18 March at 18:00.

CAF on Thursday confirmed the kick-off times for matchday 5 of this season’s CAF Champions League to take place on 18-19 March 2022.

AmaZulu currently lie third in Group B with just two matches to play. They can ill-afford a defeat ahead of their final match which will be away at Horoya.

Only the top two sides from each of the four groups will progress to the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Al-Hilal in Sudan on Saturday, 19 March at 15:00 SA time.

The Brazilians only need a point to make mathematically sure of progressing to the next phase.

Their progression may well have already been decided 24 hours before kick-off when Al-Merrikh host Al Ahly in Group A’s other match on Friday, 18 March at 18:00 SA time.
