Because it includes undeclared Soy and Wheat allergens, Van Law Food Products Inc. is recalling Whole Foods Market 365 Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing.

Consuming Soy or Wheat puts those who have a severe allergy or sensitivity at risk for serious or even fatal allergic reactions. The item was distributed throughout the states of Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming and was sold in the produce or dairy section of grocery stores.

To date, no illnesses have been reported.

The product was supplied in packaging that did not make clear the presence of the soy and wheat allergens, leading to the launch of the recall. A later inquiry revealed that the issue was brought on by the incorrect application of the back label from one product to the one that was being recalled.
