Alice Springs woman is sexually assaulted in Railway Terrace car park

A lady was allegedly abused indecently by a gang of males while walking through the Alice Springs town area during the day.

The guys approached the lady in a car park on Railway Terrace about 1.30pm on Monday, according to Northern Territory police.

‘A member of the public observed the attack and escorted the female to safety,’ a spokesperson said on Wednesday.

Detectives are looking for the individual who assisted the lady and have asked that any additional witnesses to the event contact them.
