Super Bowl champion AJ Brown has taken to social media to express his anger and determination after his car was stolen early Monday morning.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver didn’t hold back, vowing to track down the thief and make sure they face consequences.
In a message posted online, Brown made a deal with the criminal: return the car, and he won’t press charges.
However, he also sent a clear warning—if he finds the thief, it won’t end well for them.
A Message to the Thief
At around 3:45 AM on Monday, Brown’s car was taken.
In a video shared to his Instagram story, Brown addressed the thief directly. “
Just bring the whip back, bro,” he said, trying to keep the tone light but with an underlying threat. He continued, “But if I find you, it’s going to be what it’s going to be.
And I’m going to come in that interrogation room. I’m going to see about you, my boy.”
Brown then went on to commend the thief’s speed, noting how quickly they took the car.
“You’re smooth with it, though. You pulled up at 3:42, you got up out of there at 3:45. You’re fast on your feet, real fast,” he said. B
ut he assured them, “I’m going to show you how fast I am with my feet. Real talk.”
The Car Is Found
Later that day, Brown shared another video revealing that his car had been recovered.
“I’m out here grinding for the Philadelphia Eagles and I got to look for my car… no but we already have the whip,” he said.
He also added a humorous moment, recounting how his son had joked about the situation.
“My little son came up and said: ‘Dada, Paw Patrol!’ I said, ‘Everybody has jokes this morning, huh?'” he laughed.
Rising Crime Targets Sports Stars
AJ Brown’s experience is part of a troubling trend affecting athletes.
Recently, many top sports stars have fallen victim to break-ins and robberies.
High-profile names like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Luka Dončić have all experienced similar crimes.
Just last year, the FBI warned sports leagues about a crime ring targeting professional athletes.
The FBI has launched a multi-state investigation into these robberies, and authorities believe these incidents are being orchestrated by a sophisticated crime organization.
AJ Brown’s Career and Future
This car theft incident comes shortly after Brown helped the Eagles secure a second Super Bowl victory, with a key touchdown in their thrilling win over the Chiefs.
Despite recently signing a massive $96 million extension with the Eagles, rumors have been swirling that Brown might leave Philadelphia.
However, with the NFL draft just around the corner, ESPN confirmed that the receiver won’t be traded.
While Brown’s ordeal was stressful, it seems the matter is now resolved.
Still, it serves as a reminder of the challenges that even the biggest stars face, both on and off the field.
