ADJD concludes second course of basic TOT programme for Judiciary

ABU DHABI, 7th September, 2021 – The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has recently concluded the second course of the basic Training of Trainers (TOT) programme targeted for judges, with the participation of 12 members of the judiciary, including two women, who wished to practice training tasks in addition to their judicial role.
The TOT programme has been approved, following the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Head of the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi, to consolidate the position of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy as a regional and international centre for judicial and legal training.
Besides, this comes in line with the framework of the cohesive training plan approved by Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Directors, to prepare judicial trainers according to the highest international standards.
The programme has been implemented on 96 hours of training; and is designed to build a national competent generation capable of keeping pace with the contemporary developments, by providing them with the skills of designing courses, workshops and training packages; and of managing virtual training sessions and using modern technologies to practice virtual training. This in turn will contribute to achieve the Academy vision of leadership in the field of virtual judicial training at the national and international levels.
