Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant, praised President Muhammadu Buhari for taking good care of Nnamdi Kanu, the incarcerated leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOBP).
Kanu is charged with terrorism, treasonable felony, illicit guns possession, and management of an illegal society.
He had skipped bail and fled, but was apprehended and extradited to Nigeria for trial in June. Kanu is now being held by the DSS.
On Thursday, he appeared before a Federal High Court in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Garba, who couldn’t contain his joy on how healthy Kanu looks despite being in detention for months, shared pictures of the IPOB leader in the courtroom on Thursday.
“Buhari knows how to handle and care for his prisoners. See how Mr. Kanu is shining,” he captioned the pictures.
