An indigene of Awa in Orumba North Local Government Area, Chief Ambrose Egwuonwu has solicited the patronage from both private and government sectors, as he officially opened AC Peterson Electronics Showroom in Awka for business transactions.
Correspondent Emmanuel Chigbata reports that the new showroom located close to Unizik Junction Awka, along Onitsha/Enugu Expressway is fully equipped to provide a diverse range of electronic purchases including, televisions, refrigerators, generators, washing machines and other home appliances to customers.
AC Peterson electronics showroom is designed to create convenience and great shopping experience for customers as it came into existence in 2004 with over one hundred staff and eleven branches across Nigeria.
According to Chief Egwuonwu who is the Chief Executive Officer of AC Peterson Electronics, during the ceremony, expressed the company’s passion and commitment to delivering quality products to Nigerians as the company has been built on trust and integrity.
He expressed the hope that within two years of its existence in Awka, the showroom will no longer be a rented apartment, but a fully owned business apartment, adding that about twelve staff have been employed to assist the government in reducing unemployment in Nigeria.
The Vice President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo World-wide, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene who was the chairman of the occasion called on other businessmen to emulate AC Peterson by investing home, urging ndi Anambra to not relent in patronizing him.
Friends of the celebrant, including Chief Damian Nwafor, Chief Nestor Okoro and Chief Okey Enekwe congratulated Chief Egwuonwu for investing in his home state which they said is in line with the Aku Luo Uno call by the Anambra State.
They described Anambra as a peaceful state where such business can thrive without hitches, urging him to evolve more innovative ways of making its products readily available.
The Director, News and Current Affairs Department of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze was present at the occasion as Reverend Father Andrew Nwake consecrated the showroom.
