A Workplace Attack Leaves One Injured and One Arrested in the Judkins Park Area

In the aftermath of a disagreement at work, a woman was taken into custody in the Judkins Park area on Tuesday afternoon. She had stabbed a colleague.

A woman was reportedly stabbed at a healthcare facility located in the 2600 block of South Dearborn Street around 13:49 p.m., according to a caller who placed a 911 report. When officers arrived, they discovered a 41-year-old lady who had multiple stab wounds that were not life-threatening. Emergency medical technicians from the Seattle Fire Department went to the location and treated the woman there. After some time had passed, the woman was taken in a private ambulance to the Harborview Medical Center.

The suspect was taken into custody right there by the police. Both she and the victim work at the medical facility where the incident occurred.

The offender, who is 54 years old, was taken into custody by the police and charged with felony assault.
