Amazing video captures the exact moment a full-scale altercation between competing tradesmen on a North East Link construction site broke out.

The altercation at the North East Link construction site in Bulleen, Melbourne, was caught on camera as the construction workers threw punches at one another and picked up homemade weapons.

The altercation seemed to occur inside a brand-new Park and Ride bus station constructed as part of the $15.8 billion North East Link.

While being assaulted, one guy is seen laying on the ground, while another is seen being hit in the stomach.

Although the fight’s origin is unknown, it coincides with hostilities between competing construction unions.

The CFMEU has been accused of pressuring employees and construction companies to transfer to businesses that support them.

The Australian Workers’ Union has filed a lawsuit against multinational corporations in the meanwhile, accusing them of laying off its members.

According to a source, tensions between the CFMEU and the AWU have risen over the last month.

There is also a theory that the altercation was brought on by internal conflicts.

One individual was transported to the hospital after emergency services were summoned. No significant injuries were reportedly suffered, and no one has been charged.

Following the altercation, two subcontractors were fired and instructed not to come back.

According to the North East Link project staff, the altercation was a one-time thing.

The site’s employees have now been informed that any aggressive behaviour is not acceptable.

The government spokesperson told the Herald Sun that violence of any type is unacceptable and that the North East Link project team has taken the necessary steps after seeing this behaviour on site.

Matthew Guy, the leader of the opposition, criticised the vision and demanded a thorough inquiry.

“This behaviour is plainly wrong,” he added, “and the government has a duty to play in keeping people safe on construction sites across the state.”

“We need to know whether this is a common occurrence and what the administration is doing to put a stop to it,” the speaker said.
