A video has surfaced of an enraged kangaroo crashing into a golfer on the course

Wild footage has resurfaced online of a menacing kangaroo crash-tackling a golfer – not long after a woman was attacked in another incident.

The incredible vision, believed to be from the Sanctuary Cove Golf Course on the Gold Coast, begins with the fired up marsupial bouncing aggressively towards the player wearing a blue polo shirt.

As the stunned man backs away and looks to retreat next to a golf cart with his playing partner, the growling roo shows no signs of hopping away.

The golfer then attempted to use one of his clubs to protect himself, only to slip and be attacked by the animal native to Australia.

The video comes after a number of golfers at a popular country club – also on the Gold Coast – were recently targeted by vicious kangaroos, with at least 15 people attacked and two hospitalised.

Mary Kohler, 64, was enjoying a round with a group of friends at the Arundel Hills Country Club earlier this month when a roo attack left her with large cuts to her neck, arms and back.

‘I didn’t see what hit me. One of my girlfriends jumped out of the cart with a golf club and pounded the kangaroo off my back,’ Ms Kohler told 9News.

‘It was quite terrifying. At this stage I didn’t realise the extent of my injuries.’
