A person has died after a single-vehicle crash in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
Police were called to the crash at 5.37pm on State Highway 35 in Tirohanga, Ōpōtiki on Wednesday.
Police said the person died at the scene.
The road reopened on Thursday morning following a scene examination.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
