Thursday, 84 undocumented migrants were “rescued” from a tractor-trailer just north of the Texas-Mexico border, according to a tweet by Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra.

“A concerned citizen reported witnessing a tractor trailer arriving at a property and unloading people,” Guerra said, adding that authorities reacted and “rescued 84 undocumented immigrants.”

Google describes the location Guerra mentions in his tweet as “a Census-designated area known as Olivarez.”

According to him, ICE Homeland Security Investigations is investigating the incident as a case of human smuggling.

Guerra also told CNN that the 18-wheeler’s passengers are from Central America and that no one at the site requested medical assistance.
