Date of Gombe State University’s Reopening

At its second emergency meeting, conducted on September 1st, the university governing council discussed the impact of ASUU’s prolonged industrial action on Gombe state university.

Following thorough debates, the council adopted the following resolution and directive:

That all academic personnel should immediately resume work. In the offices of the HOD are attendance registers for people wanting and able to resume work.
The university administration should apply the “no work, no pay” principle to individuals who fail to resume classes by September 9, 2022.
