Thomas Adewumi University Appoints a New Female Vice-Chancellor

The former head of the computer science department at Federal University Lokoja (FUL) and director of quality assurance at FUL, Professor Francisca Onaolapo OLADIPO, has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Thomas Adewumi University in Oko, KWARA State.

In a group chat this morning, Saturday, July 2, 2022, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, informed members of the University Community of this.

The Vice-Chancellor announced the joyful news, which was received with tremendous delight and a flood of congratulations and well-wisher messages, as follows:

“Today, I am pleased to inform the University Community that FUL has reached yet another milestone during this Administration. In the person of our Director of Quality Assurance, Professor Francisca Oladipo, who has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Thomas Adewumi University, Oko, Kwara State, we have just produced our first Vice-Chancellor. Please join me in congratulating this outstanding scholar, sister, and friend, and keep in mind that hard work pays off.”

She is the executive coordinator of VODAN Africa and Asia (VODANA). She is an outstanding data scientist, professor of computer, and tech ambassador.
