Patrick Grady is no longer the subject of a sexual harassment inquiry by Scotland Yard.

After speaking with the claimed victim, investigators decided against taking any further action against the MP for Glasgow North, according to the Metropolitan Police on Sunday.

In 2016, the SNP’s former chief whip left the party after police opened an inquiry into an incident that occurred in an east London bar.

After being discovered to have behaved improperly toward an SNP employee, Mr. Grady apologized profusely in front of the Commons.

‘On Wednesday, June 22, police received a third party allegation of sexual assault that is believed to have occurred in October 2016 at a business establishment on Folgate Street, E1,’ a Met spokesman said.

Officers spoke with the suspected victim as part of their investigation.

“At this moment, there will be no additional police action.”
