Fireboy DML scheduled to perform his hit song “Peru” at 2022 BET Awards

Adedamola Adefolahan, professionally known as Fireboy DML, a Nigerian afropop singer, has been scheduled to perform at the 2022 BET Awards.

Taraji P. Henson, a Hollywood actress, will host the event, which will take place on Sunday, June 26 at the Microsoft Center in Los Angeles, California.

Fireboy is one of the musical acts scheduled to perform that night, and he is expected to perform his smash hit single, Peru.

BET made the announcement with a video snippet on Twitter on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

It wrote; ”[email protected] might just take us to Peru with his performance at #CulturesBiggestNight. Catch him LIVE at the 2022 #BETAwards Sunday, June 26 8/7c! #BET”

The singer is also hoping to take home an award for Best International Act, for which he was nominated.
