Williams and his country’s insight into this emerging energy source will be crucial to unlocking the full potential of Senegal, Mauritania, and their neighbors.
The EU’s green labeling of gas and LNG’s 30 percent lower carbon footprint than heavy fuel oils have sparked a surge in investor interest in Europe’s newly open markets in the last few months alone.
Prior to his current position as Senior LNG consultant to the Minister of Natural Resources, Minerals and Energy in Mozambique, Williams held an unparalleled pan-African perspective on the burgeoning superfuel liquefied natural gas. For the host countries, MSGBC gas resources hold enormous potential for economic and social progress.
