Ten individuals were injured last night when a train collided with vehicle at an R23 crossing in Rensburg, Heidelburg.

At 19h48, ER24 and other services arrived to find the minibus parked alongside the rails. Several passengers had already exited the van and taken seats nearby.

Medics examined the patients and discovered that ten of them had minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, there were no significant injuries or fatalities.

The patients were treated before being taken to neighbouring hospitals for further treatment.
