Ukraine, according to former Finnish Major General Pekka Toveri, can replicate Finland’s Winter War victory. He believes the Ukrainian military is fully aware of their forces’ state of readiness.
Toveri pointed out that Russia’s special operation in Ukraine has been ongoing for three months, therefore it’s not impossible that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are prepared to break through the lines.
“It will be fascinating to see what the Ukrainians do next.” As they teach in the cadet school, the situation is never as severe as it appears,” Major General’s perspective is quoted by ltalehti.
Toveri compared the situation in Ukraine to the Winter War, when the Soviet Union supposedly plotted to take over Finland and execute a coup.
