Brave dog named Kiki takes on a giant kangaroo three times her size

The roo stood tall in front of a bush, perhaps protecting a joey in there, and made an occasional hop towards Kiki to try to put her off.

Having had enough of Kiki and probably wanting to bring matters to a close, the kangaroo suddenly stops guarding the bush and gives chase.

At this point, Kiki ran off, but not for long. The action was soon back at the bush and the tension was upped a notch.

‘It’s going to get her,’ the young woman said, with a tone of resignation.

‘Should I call someone?’ she asks someone else watching proceedings. ‘Should I, like, call a vet or something?’

By this time, the roo was getting very annoyed at the barky botherer and started trying to punch her.

For most creatures, that would have been a good time to retreat. But Kiki was not one for giving up.

That prompted the young woman to become increasingly concerned that this story was headed for a bad ending.

Her shouts of ‘Kiki!’ got ever louder and more concerned.

But still the dog kept going, running through puddles, desperate to get the better of a beast that could outkick and outpunch her any time – if only it could get close enough to land a blow.

‘Oh, my God,’ Cadence called out, seeming to despair at how long Kiki could last before getting a hit she’d never forget.
