Pictures of Orlando Pirates’ Paseka Mako in hospital

Tuesday night’s DStv Premiership game was locked at 0-0 at the Peter Mokaba stadium, Mako attempted to block a defender while his goalkeeper Ofori came out to collect the ball.

Mako lost consciousness before an ambulance was rushed to the pitch to offer urgent medical attention, all while his teammates and the Baroka team hid him from the cameras.

As relief, the Buccaneers later offered an update to confirm that Mako did not suffer a skull fracture or brain haemorrhage.

“The doctor has revealed that CT scan results have shown no signs of skull fracture or any brain haemorrhage however, the player has sustained fracture to the face and nose. He will remain in High Care and will be assessed by the neurosurgeon again this morning,” the club statement.

Meanwhile, an two images are doing the rounds on social media, where TS Galaxy’s coach Sead Ramovic, his players Bathusi Aubaas, Pogiso Sanoka, and Seedat Ibrahim are seen visiting Mako in hospital.
