The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) started paying beneficiaries from the first day of the month, in line with its updated schedule.
SASSA R350 GRANT PAYMENT DATES
If a R350 grant beneficiary chooses to collect their payment from a South African Post Office (SAPO) branch, the last three digits of their ID number determine the date of collection.

Other SASSA R350 grant collection points available to beneficiaries include till points at Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, selected OK Foods supermarkets, Pick n Pay and Boxer stores.
An April written reply to parliamentary questions by the Department of Social Development revealed that the ministry is in the final stages of negotiations with Spar, which could see the supermarket added to the list imminently.
