WAM honours team in Expo 2020 Dubai, World Government Summit

Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director-General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM) today honoured in Al Wasl Plaza at Expo 2020 Dubai, the WAM team that registered outstanding achievements in media coverage of the international event and the World Government Summit.

Al Rayssi said that he looked forward to achieving more successes and stressed that the WAM team’s success in cooperation with local and international partners is a source of pride for national media and at the same time a motivation for more giving and creativity in the upcoming events.

He also emphasised WAM’s keenness to become an active participant in all major events and occasions in the country through rapid and comprehensive media coverage, particularly if it is at the level of the World Government Summit and Expo 2020 Dubai, as part of its national role to highlight the UAE’s achievements and the cultural boom in various sectors based on its national strategy.
