Meghan Markle Confirms Netflix Series With Love Meghan Will Not Return for a Third Season Despite Initial Hype in Montecito

Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, won’t be coming back for a third season, insiders have revealed.

While the series launched with plenty of fanfare in March 2025, giving viewers a peek at lifestyle tips from a lavish rented £5 million Montecito mansion, it seems the Duchess of Sussex is ready to turn the page.

Sources told Page Six that the 44-year-old found the show “a lot of work” and has opted not to pursue another full season.

One insider added, “It is not returning as a series.

There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there’s nothing in the works yet.”

Bite-Sized Content and the As Ever Brand

Although the full show won’t continue, fans can still expect to see Meghan share lifestyle ideas online.

“People will see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the brand, but more bite-sized,” an insider explained.

The Duchess will now concentrate on building her lifestyle brand, As Ever, expanding beyond the screen and into products her followers can enjoy at home.

Reception and Ratings of With Love, Meghan

With Love, Meghan faced a tough critical reception.

Reviewers dismissed it as “gormless lifestyle filler” and noted a “tangible desperation” in the content.

According to Netflix’s official engagement report, the show ranked number 383 among the platform’s productions, drawing 5.3 million global views in the first half of 2025.

Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 23 percent approval rating.

Despite the mixed reviews, the show featured high-profile guests, including chefs José Andrés, Roy Choi, and Alice Waters, as well as friends like Chrissy Teigen, Mindy Kaling, and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

Series two, released in August, also included personal stories, with Meghan opening up about her romance with Prince Harry.

She revealed that Harry, whom she calls “H,” said “I love you” first and that she realized she was falling for him on their third date, a safari in Botswana.

Filming and Family Appearances

The Netflix series was shot in a rented Montecito home near the Sussex family mansion.

Although Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet, occasionally visited the set, they didn’t appear on camera—except for a brief appearance by Harry in the final episode of the first season.

Meghan explained in a March 2025 interview with People that filming outside their home helped “protect [her family’s] safe haven.”

While Harry & Meghan, their 2022 documentary, became Netflix’s most-viewed documentary during its first four days with 23.4 million views, With Love, Meghan struggled to make a similar impact, failing to reach the platform’s top 10—or even the top 300 shows.

Future Plans: Cookbooks, Homeware, and Wine

The series may be ending, but Meghan’s ambitions are far from slowing down.

Earlier this month, reports suggested she’s set to release her first cookbook for adults in 2026, featuring tips and tricks for hosting at home.

An insider told the Daily Mail, “Meghan is looking at a cookbook for early 2026 and there will be more lifestyle products coming in the spring.”

The As Ever brand is also expected to expand into candles, homeware, and wine, moving beyond the crepe and biscuit kits that debuted with her business in March 2025.

Meghan, who has a fondness for full-bodied reds, may launch a California cabernet sauvignon, adding to her white, rosé, and sparkling offerings.

The cookbook will likely combine recipes from With Love, Meghan with other home favorites, marking her first culinary release for adults.

Meghan has previously contributed to a community cookbook in 2018 and authored the children’s book The Bench, but this upcoming project represents a new step in her lifestyle ventures.

Looking Ahead

Insiders say 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Meghan.

“There will be more wine and definitely more homeware too,” one source noted.

However, her focus will shift away from selling the original crepe and biscuit kits.

With Netflix stepping back, Meghan is redirecting her energy toward building a lifestyle empire with As Ever, promising fans new ways to engage with her brand in more intimate and accessible ways.
