The latest series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has been rocked by the dramatic departure of five contestants, leaving fans shocked as the show faces its most chaotic season yet.
As the famous faces endure the gruelling and often brutal tasks, several have found themselves unable to continue, with some pulling out for medical reasons and others citing emotional breakdowns.
Jessika Power’s Emotional Exit Marks the Beginning of the Drama
The chaos began with MAFS star Jessika Power, who broke down in tears during a demanding task early in the show.
As the group struggled with an intense physical challenge, Jessika found herself overwhelmed and, after a tearful confession, decided she couldn’t continue.
In an emotional moment, she handed in her arm band and left, apologising but unable to push through the stress of the exercise.
Jessika explained her decision on camera: “If I quit my arm band, I’m going to feel really upset and disappointed in myself.
But I want to feel accomplished when I leave this course. I want to know I pushed myself to the limit,” she said, showing the internal conflict many of the contestants were facing.
More Departures as the Pressure Mounts
As if Jessika’s emotional exit wasn’t enough, the show saw three more celebrities leave in a single episode.
First, it was Neighbours star Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who nearly fainted during a task.
Then came influencer Jack Joseph, who admitted he wasn’t physically fit enough to handle the challenges.
At just 25, Jack bowed out after struggling to complete a task that involved climbing 27 flights of stairs.
“I’m not physically fit enough, to be honest. I’m done,” he said.
Next to quit was fellow influencer Cole Anderson-James, 28, who decided he wasn’t mentally strong enough to carry on.
The emotional and physical strain seemed to be too much for many, with Cole admitting defeat after a particularly difficult challenge.
Meanwhile, Home and Away actor Axle Whitehead was sent home due to medical reasons after losing feeling in his arm, leaving even fewer celebrities in the race.
A source close to the show revealed to The Sun, “The celebrities were dropping like flies.
It’s been an intense experience for all of them.”
Dani Dyer Struggles Underwater in Latest Challenge
Meanwhile, the challenges kept coming for those who remained.
On Sunday night’s episode, Dani Dyer faced a terrifying underwater deep-water dive, part of an emergency evacuation drill where contestants were submerged in a plane fuselage 260 feet above ground.
While in pairs, contestants were told to hold their breath and then escape the submerged plane.
Dani, already terrified of the task, struggled with panic and quickly pulled out, apologising to her partner, Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney.
Dani confessed to Billy Billingham, the chief instructor, “I’m really scared,” and couldn’t continue, leading to an angry remark from Billy:
“Catastrophic fail!” The strain of such intense challenges has left several contestants teetering on the edge, with Dani’s emotional reaction a clear example of how difficult the show has become.
Ryan Moloney’s Leadership Sparks Tension Among Contestants
Adding further tension to the camp dynamics, Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney, who has taken on a leadership role in the group, has been rubbing some of his fellow contestants the wrong way.
Known for his role as Toadfish in the long-running Aussie soap, Ryan’s commanding style has caused friction, especially after he began issuing orders to the others, including directing them to fill their water bottles and be prepared for upcoming tasks.
After a series of exercises, Ryan’s anger flared when the Directing Staff discovered that several recruits hadn’t filled their bottles properly.
“Fill up your fing water bottles first! Use your cups to drink in here so you’ve always got a full fing bottle,” he yelled, leading to further tension within the group.
His outburst, combined with his heavy-handed leadership style, left some contestants feeling alienated, especially after Toby Olubi and Gabby Allen expressed their frustration with his tone.
Gabby sarcastically responded, “Nice way to talk to everyone, isn’t it?” as Ryan’s anger made things uncomfortable around camp.
Viewers at home quickly picked up on the escalating tension, with many predicting that Ryan would become a divisive figure in the competition.
A Rocky Start for This Year’s Celebrities
While the recruits began the series by bonding, the cracks are quickly beginning to show.
The celebrity lineup features a mix of UK and Australian stars, including Love Island’s Dani Dyer, MAFS star Jessika Power, and former cricketer Graeme Swann.
However, it’s not just the Brits versus Aussies dividing the group – Ryan Moloney’s behaviour has become the focal point of the internal tensions.
As viewers have pointed out, it’s clear that he’s already becoming a polarising figure, with many anticipating that he’ll clash with more of his teammates as the series progresses.
The Drama Continues
As Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues, the drama is intensifying, with the remaining contestants facing even tougher tasks ahead.
The high-stakes environment, both physically and mentally, is pushing the celebrities to their limits.
With several high-profile contestants already dropping out and tensions running high, the show’s future promises more shocking moments.
Celebrity SAS airs Sundays at 9 pm on Channel 4, and with every episode, viewers are left wondering who will crack under pressure next.
