After a tense moment on Celebrity Traitors, Paloma Faith and Alan Carr surprised fans by putting their on-screen feud to rest.
The comedian, 49, had shocked viewers when he “murdered” his friend Paloma, 44, early in the game using a faux poisoned lily, leaving the pregnant singer furious.
But in a behind-the-scenes moment on the show’s spin-off Uncloaked, the pair shared a warm, albeit slightly reluctant, hug.
Alan wrapped Paloma in his arms and reassured her, “Stop worrying.
See? We are friends!” Paloma smiled and agreed, “It’s all fine.”
Alan added with a grin, “We love each other,” signaling that the drama was truly over.
Alan Confesses the Guilt
During the Uncloaked taping, Alan admitted to host Ed Gamble that he felt intense guilt for deceiving his friends, especially Paloma.
“The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside.
And you’ve got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone’s face,” he explained.
He joked about how touching anyone else might have landed him in HR trouble.
He continued, “It was so awful. I’m a fan of her music, I’ve been a fan of her for a long time, we are friends, we go on each other’s podcasts. So, yeah, it absolutely really hurt.”
A Hilarious Apology
When asked if he wanted to say anything directly to Paloma, Alan took the chance to apologise, injecting his usual humor.
“I am so sorry. You know I am, and I want to tell everyone that I’m the father of her child.
We had a make-up hug and one thing led to another!” he quipped, sending the audience into hysterics.
Paloma played along, joking, “I have been known to turn people.
And it was an enjoyable experience for both of us, I hope.”
The exchange confirmed that all was forgiven between them, and Paloma voiced her delight at Alan’s win.
Paloma Reflects on the Show
The singer got emotional, explaining her rollercoaster of feelings during filming.
“I think the reason Alan won and the reason I was so sad was because we all love him so much… I’m so happy that he won because it was bloody worth it.”
She added poignantly, “You hurt me and I loved you,” to which Alan quipped, “Only love can hurt like that,” referencing her hit song.
A Playful Social Media Moment
After filming, Paloma brought the joke to Instagram Stories.
Filming her baby bump, she teased fans about the identity of the father. Alan appeared beside her, cradling her belly.
Paloma smiled, “It’s our child. A love child!” Alan suggested a name, “What shall we call it – Claudia?” but Paloma smirked, “I think it’s going to be called Alan.”
Exciting Times for Paloma
Paloma announced last month that she’s expecting her third child with boyfriend Stevie Thomas, who she’s been dating for a year.
She is already mother to two daughters, aged eight and four, from her previous relationship with Leyman Lahcine.
With Alan crowned the first Celebrity Traitors champion and Paloma embracing her pregnancy, it seems both stars are enjoying a joyful, playful chapter in their lives — proving that a little TV drama doesn’t have to get in the way of friendship.
