Sunday night’s Strictly Come Dancing results show left fans absolutely stunned — and not in a good way.

After what many called a “disastrous” Cha-Cha-Cha performance, drag performer La Voix somehow dodged elimination, even though she and partner Aljaž Škorjanec finished dead last on the leaderboard.

Shock Result Sends Chris Robshaw Home

Despite scoring a painfully low 14 points on Saturday — including a brutal “two” from head judge Shirley Ballas — La Voix waltzed safely through to next week, thanks to the public vote.

Instead, it was former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw who found himself sent home after losing the dance-off to EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal.

The result sparked fury across social media, with viewers questioning how La Voix managed to escape the bottom two. “La Voix robbed someone of a place next week.

Strictly is FIXED!” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Another joked, “Love La Voix, but that routine should’ve put her in the dance-off — I’m sorry!

Still, her supporters were thrilled, celebrating online with posts like “The Save La Voix campaign worked!” and “We believe in you, La Voix — time to redeem yourself next week, Mother!

Chris and Nadiya Bow Out After Emotional Farewell

It was a tough goodbye for Chris Robshaw, who performed a lively Salsa to Ricky Martin’s Maria with partner Nadiya Bychkova, but lost out to Balvinder and Julian Caillon’s fiery Paso Doble to Diablo Rojo.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood cast the deciding vote, choosing to save Balvinder and Julian.

Speaking after his exit, Chris said the Strictly experience had been life-changing:

“I’ve loved it. I’ve had an amazing partner. I came into this with no confidence, and to be told I had world-class qualities on the dance floor today — even though we’re going home — that’s amazing to hear.”

Turning to Nadiya, he added emotionally:

“You’ve been brilliant. I’ve developed so much. It’s been an incredible ride — thank you.”

Nadiya’s Heartfelt Tribute

Clearly moved, Nadiya praised her celebrity partner, saying:

“Chris, I’ve seen all the qualities that made you captain your country.

Watching you go from a non-dancer to someone who truly enjoys performing has been incredible.”

She continued, “Sometimes on this show you win by taking home the glitterball — but this year, I feel like I’ve already won just by getting you as my partner.”

Musical Guests and a Teaser for Icons Week

Fans also got a sneak peek at next week’s Icons Week, which will see each celebrity channel a legendary music star.

Chris Opens Up About His Mental Health Journey

Ahead of his exit, Chris had spoken candidly about how dancing helped him rebuild confidence after retiring from rugby.

“My biggest competition is my own brain,” he admitted.

“I can’t keep letting anxious thinking win. Strictly has helped me find that spark again.”

He explained how leaving the rugby world left him feeling “lost” and without purpose, but training for Strictly gave him a reason to push himself again. “It’s not the same as being on the pitch,” he said, “but dancing has made me so happy.”
