As 2025 unfolds, a heartbreaking chapter has emerged in Hollywood.
Pamela Bach, actress and ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was found dead in her Hollywood Hills home on March 5.
While fans and loved ones have been reeling from the news for months, newly released details from the coroner’s report shed light on the events leading up to her passing.
Final Conversation With Her Daughter
According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, Pamela spoke to her daughter early that morning—around 7:45 a.m.—and told her she loved her “very much.”
That would be their last conversation.
When her daughter couldn’t reach her again later that day—despite multiple calls and texts—she went to check on her mom in person.
Tragically, she found Pamela unresponsive in bed and immediately called 911.
The Cause of Death Confirmed
The coroner’s report confirmed that Pamela died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
She was found with a revolver and pronounced dead at the scene.
The report also stated that while she had previously mentioned thoughts of suicide, there hadn’t been any prior attempts.
It also noted that she had been struggling with depression.
Toxicology tests revealed the presence of Benzodiazepines in her system—specifically Clonazepam and 7-Aminoclonazepam.
These are commonly prescribed medications used to treat anxiety, panic disorders, and seizures.

Pamela’s body has since been cremated, and her death certificate confirms the findings.
Her ex-husband, David Hasselhoff, shared a brief but heartfelt statement through a spokesperson:
“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.
We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve.”
A Daughter’s Heartbreaking Goodbye
Pamela’s daughter Taylor, 34, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram shortly after her mother’s death.
Alongside a series of childhood photos of her and her sister Hayley, Taylor wrote:
“I’d do anything in the world to hug you again, my forever angel… my best friend, my whole heart, my everything.”

Pamela Bach first broke into the entertainment world in the 1980s with a role in Rumble Fish, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. She later met David Hasselhoff while working on Knight Rider.
By 1989, she had secured a recurring role on Baywatch, playing café owner Kaye Morgan.
Her acting resume also included appearances on The Young and the Restless, The Fall Guy, and Sirens. .Though she stepped back from acting in more recent years, she did participate in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2011.
