Authorities in Brighton have launched a serious investigation after a woman in her 20s reported being assaulted at a home in the city.
The incident, which allegedly took place overnight, was reported to Sussex Police early Sunday morning.
Suspects Taken into Custody
Following the report, officers swiftly responded and arrested five men in connection with the case.
The suspects, aged 38, 32, 32, 36, and 26, are currently being held in custody while detectives continue their inquiries.

“At approximately 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, we received a report from a woman in her 20s stating that she had been assaulted overnight at a property in Montpelier Place, Brighton.
She is currently receiving support from specialist officers as our investigation progresses,” the spokesperson said.
