In a distressing 911 call, the girlfriend of late rapper Rich Homie Quan can be heard in a state of panic following his sudden death.
Amber Williams, who shared two sons with the rapper, reported that he wasn’t breathing, had no pulse, and began foaming at the mouth when she turned him over.
The call, obtained by TMZ, reveals the harrowing moments she experienced.
Troubling Discovery
The 34-year-old rapper, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, had been sleeping on the living room couch since the previous night and hadn’t made it to bed, according to Williams.
She thought he was still asleep and covered him with a blanket before getting their son ready for school.
When she checked on him later, she found he wasn’t breathing and couldn’t feel a heartbeat.
Urgent Response
Williams’ distress was evident as she relayed her findings to the dispatcher.
Although the dispatcher initially struggled to hear her, once Williams confirmed Lamar’s lack of breath, paramedics were dispatched immediately.
The dispatcher then guided Williams through performing CPR, instructing her to place Lamar on his back on the floor.
Williams, in a state of panic, exclaimed, “He is not waking up!”
