Christmas: NYSC Boss prays for Unity in Nigeria

The management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has facilitated Christians in Nigeria as they celebrate the Christmas festival.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim in a message prayed for lasting peace, renewal of faith, strengthening of the commonalities, as well as bond of unity among Nigerians, which the NYSC Scheme has championed in 48 years.

The Director-General also admonished Staff and Corps members to celebrate the Season responsibly, guarding against risky behaviours that would harm them.

He said; ”Night travels in any guise should be avoided.

Any journey that stretches beyond 6pm (local time) should be avoided.

”With collective and conscientious efforts towards nation-building, Nigeria shall rise to take its pride of place in the comity of developed nations.

”Merry Christmas.
