67-year-old Wendy’s client dies after being sucker punched by staff

It’s thought Kendrick initiated the brutal physical assault the victim after he complained about his food order at Wendy’s in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Nearly two weeks after the brawl, the guy passed away in the hospital, prompting Kendrick’s arrest. He is now being charged with second-degree murder.

Before the confrontation, Kendrick is seen on camera taking the man’s order. Before Kendrick emerges from behind the counter, the 67-year-old can be seen waving his finger.

Before Kendrick hit him on the head, the elderly guy looked to be taking a taste of his Wendy’s frozen dessert.

Before going back behind the counter, getting a few things, and leaving, Kendrick looks at the victim who is lying on the ground.

According to authorities, the brutal hit led the old guy to pass out and slump on the ground.

He was subsequently flown to the hospital, where he spent the next ten days in a severe condition.

But on August 5, the old guy tragically passed away from his injuries.

At the time of the event, police detained Kendrick and charged him with aggravated assault.

The client complained about his meal order, at which point Antoine Kendrick, the employee, emerged from behind the service counter, and punched the customer in the head, according to police.

While they awaited their meals, customers seemed to watch the attack take place nearby, including one who described it as “horrendous.”

One client said, “That was a Mike Tyson hit,” to AZ Family. He had no right to touch the consumer since the customer hadn’t touched him; end of story.

Simply put, I find that awful and wish it wouldn’t take place. It casts a negative light on our society as a whole.

In the 20 years he has lived in the area, another observer claimed he has never witnessed an incident develop in that way.

You don’t have that type of things up here; it’s calm. It’s unfortunate. I feel bad for the victim of the hit. It’s improper.
