45-year-old woman discovered dead in Townsville motel

North Queensland police are probing the shocking discovery of a woman’s body in a hotel room.

Friday night, Townsville police were dispatched to the Coolabah Motel, where a 45-year-old lady was discovered dead at the scene.

The police have begun investigating the death.

A police spokesman told the Townsville Bulletin, “Investigations are proceeding to identify the cause of death, awaiting the findings of an autopsy.”

The coroner will be provided with a report.
