Senator Joel Ikenya, a governorship candidate for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, claims he has what it takes to win the election in Taraba State.
“I’ve been with the PDP since the beginning, and we’ve never lost an election,” Senator Ikenya added. Some of us have left because we believe we require trustworthy individuals. I’ve served at all levels, and given what I’ve learned so far, I’m confident that if elected, I’ll deliver and make the people proud.”

The governorship election in Taraba State is scheduled on March 11th, 2023.
Pastor Donald Daunemigha, a senatorial aspirant from Bayelsa State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has secured the expression of interest and nomination forms to run for the Bayelsa West Senatorial seat in the 2023 election against former governor Seriake Dickson.
“Because we have an existing zoning arrangement that should bring the senatorial seat to my local government,” Daunemigha explained, “I was asked by a wide spectrum of local government people to run in this election, and that is why I have obliged and decided to take this giant leap after seeking the face of God.”
“I believe that power comes from God, and that in a democracy, it is the people who possess the power or the force of the election to place you in any office, so if elected, I will represent the people properly and have a beneficial impact on people’s lives,” he stated.
“I am not coming out for my own personal gain,” Daunemigh stated, “but to serve the people.”
