The African Democratic Congress, ADC has approved the appointment of seven Directors into the National Working Committee of the Youth Council, ahead of the 2023 General elections.
The directors were appointed after rigorous exercise, in order to attain results.
A Statement signed by the National Youth Leader of African Democratic Congress, Maurice Ebam, sais the directors were appointed after rigorous exercise, in order to attain results.
It said that “National Youth Council of the party was a breeding ground, where leadership roles would be imbibed for the development of the party, Nigeria and Africa.
The statement partly read, “The appointed youths must note that loyalty lies to the ADC and are saddled with the responsibility of running National Youth secretariat of our party optimising results.
“Those appointed are James Otudor as Director of New Media, Moses Eze as Director of Programmes, Jojo Habila as Director of Communication, Ikechukwu Edwin as Director of Student Mobilisation;
“Others include Oluwasimidele Dahunsi as Director of Youths Diaspora, Winner Martins as Director of Strategy, Tama Monday as Director of Engagement and Policy and Zakari Garba Zakari.
Ebam urged them not to relent from the selfless, passionate service they had brought to the party.
The youth leader said, “It’s our tradition to extend a warm handshake to members of our great party African Democratic Congress.
“On behalf of the National Youth Council of our party that is in pursuant to the constitution of our great party after rigorous selection exercise and recognizance to passion and selfless service, the following youths of our great party have been appointed as members of ADC national youth council National working committee.
“The ADC National Youth Council National Working Committee is replica of our party structure for the Youth Council and will serve as breeding ground for mentorship of the youths for the takeover of party leadership and positioning of our party ADC as truly the party of the youths which will assist the ADC National Youth Council to carry out its enormous responsibilities.
