Zozibini Tunzi surprises fans by revealing her secret wedding and performing a heartfelt song she wrote for her husband in a private ceremony

Former Miss Universe and Miss South Africa 2019, Zozibini Tunzi, took everyone by surprise when she revealed her wedding in an emotional Instagram post.

What made the moment even more special was that she performed a song she had written two years ago—dedicated to the very man she married on that beautiful day.

A Secret Love Story Unfolds

Fans were left in awe when Zozi shared photos from her wedding on Sunday, March 23, just a day after her intimate white wedding ceremony.

Unlike many public figures, she had never posted about her relationship, keeping her love life completely private.

Yet, her big day was attended by some of South Africa’s biggest celebrities, including Nomzamo Mbatha and Anele Mdoda.

The Song That Came Full Circle

One of the most touching moments of the wedding was when Zozi performed a song for her husband—a song she had written two years prior.

Anele Mdoda shared a snippet of the performance on her Instagram Story, capturing the magical moment.

Later, Zozi took to her own Instagram Story to explain the backstory of the song.

“Muneyi was teaching me how to write music, and on this particular day, he asked me how I was feeling at that point in my life. I told him I was in love,” she wrote.

She explained that the song had remained untouched for two years until her wedding day, when she finally sang it for the man who inspired it.

Traditional Wedding Rumors

While Zozi has yet to confirm it herself, reports suggest that the celebrations are far from over.

According to radio content producer Simmy Freddy, a traditional wedding is set to take place on Saturday, March 29, in the Eastern Cape.

Freddy shared images of what appears to be the wedding invitation, listing the groom’s name as Luthando Bolowana and detailing that the ceremony will be held in Tsolo, at Sidwadweni AA, Mdeni Location.

The invite also states that the dress code is Xhosa traditional attire.

However, without official confirmation from Zozi, it remains to be seen whether the invitation is indeed authentic.
