Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a legendary striker, has suffered another setback in his 2022/23 campaign, making just four appearances and scoring one goal so far.
He had been enjoying an Indian summer to his illustrious career, having rejoined AC Milan in January 2020.
Unfortunately, Ibrahimovic, now 41, has endured an injury-disrupted season.
His last game was for Sweden against Belgium a month ago while he last played for Milan on March 18 in a 3-1 defeat to Udinese in Serie A.
He was hoping to get on against Lecce but suffered an injury while warming up.

Fans Express Their Concerns on Social Media
Following the news of Ibrahimovic’s injury, many fans expressed their fears on social media that his career could be over.
Some even urged him to retire for his own sake.
One fan tweeted that age and time catch up with everyone, while another said that it was time to rest and watch his boys do great things.
A third fan commented that it was sadly finished, and it was time for Ibrahimovic to hang up his boots and retire in peace.
Another fan added that it was time to say goodbye, echoing Andrea Bocelli’s song.
A fifth supporter of the player urged him to retire from football, acknowledging that he was a big champion and an amazing player.
Ibrahimovic’s Last Chance to Win the Champions League
This season could be Ibrahimovic’s final season as a player, and he is looking to win the Champions League for the first time.
Milan has made it through to the last four after surprisingly seeing off Serie A leaders Napoli in the quarter-finals.
They will face city rivals Inter in the semis for the right to face Manchester City or Real Madrid in the final.
