Zinedine Zidane Rules Out Manchester United Job If Solskjaer Is Sacked

If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is fired because he is not ready to return to management, Zinedine Zidane has no interest in taking over at Manchester United.

At the end of last season, Zidane announced his departure from Los Blancos. Since leaving Real Madrid after his second stint, the Frenchman has declined to pursue another management position.

United’s possible alternatives have thus been reduced in an already narrow field, according to Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo, which broke the news. Following the subsequent unfavourable results from Ole, fans burst out in anger on social media (#OLEOUT), demanding the urgent sack of Solskjaer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Zidane only wants to relax and recover at this stage in his life and while he will almost certainly return to management in the future, but that time is not now.
