Macy Edwards, a 22-year-old from Wynyard in Tasmania’s north-west, was involved in a serious car crash two weeks ago, leaving her with multiple life-threatening injuries.
She sustained brain and heart trauma, as well as broken ribs, pelvis, collarbone, neck and tailbone fractures, with some injuries requiring treatment in Melbourne when she stabilizes.
Macy was returning home after attending a tour guide training course in Launceston when the collision occurred.
Her family and friends are appealing for financial assistance to help with the cost of her ongoing treatment.
