The First and is still the best (Yaba College of Technology) tops the list yet again as the best polytechnic in Nigeria for the third time, Making it three consecutive times in a row clinching the very first position. Congratulations are in order to the Management team upheld by the Rector Engr. Obafemi Owoseni OMOKUNGBE, the academic staff for publishing quality journals citable among academicians all over the world, and the Staff of the Centre for Information Technology and Management (CITM) for their unfaltering and commendable gusto geared toward this celebratory feat, and the entire Student of the institution at large.
Webometrics ranking is based on Web contents Impact, top-cited researchers, and papers published on research and publication platforms online.
This is a Ranking of Higher Institutions of Learning. It uses both webometric and bibliometric (research) indicators. The primary objective of the Ranking Web is to promote Open Access to the knowledge generated by Institutions. Yabatech has been able to implement strategies to improve her ranking through the increase in the quantity and quality of the web content.
Ranking Web started in 2004 (current is the 19th year of publication) with the aim to offer full coverage of Higher Education Institutions whatever the country or discipline involves. Currently ranked are 31 000 HEIs from more than 200 countries.
