Wrexham Fans’ Theory about Gareth Bale Signing with the Club
Wrexham, the newly crowned National League champions, have been teasing their fans with the possibility of signing Gareth Bale.
The Welsh star has been showing his support for Wrexham, and the club’s Hollywood owners, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, have been fueling the fire by inviting him to play golf and even photoshopping him in a Wrexham shirt.
However, some Wrexham fans have a different theory.
The US Tour Theory
Some Wrexham fans believe that Bale will not be playing league football for them but will appear in a Wrexham shirt during the club’s tour of the United States.
One fan believes that it is a realistic option for exhibition games, while another fan thinks that it will be a signing for the US games or small-sided games in the summer.
Another fan is more optimistic and suggests signing Bale for one season to play in League Two.
The Exciting US Tour
Wrexham is set to travel to the United States in late May and will take part in “The Soccer Tournament” from July 1 to July 4.
Wrexham fans are particularly excited about the two subsequent games, where they will face Chelsea on July 19 in North Carolina and then take on Manchester United in California on July 25.
