Jessica D. Czerwinski, known as Jessa The Bearded Lady, is seeking the title of the world’s longest beard on a living female, with her 15-inch long beard, four and a half inches longer than the current record holder.
But her path to self-acceptance and love has been marred by trauma.
Abuse and Trauma
Jessica has suffered from bullying, abuse, and ostracism due to her facial hair, which is linked to her PCOS and fibromyalgia.
She has been forced into marriage twice in an attempt to pass off the problem, and her former partner even tried to burn her face to remove the hair, leaving scars under her beard.
Jessica has also faced physical violence from drunk tourists during her time working at Fremont Street in Las Vegas.
Despite the hurtful comments she has endured, she has embraced her features and is pushing for the world record title.
Polyamorous Age-Gap Relationship
Jessica is currently in a polyamorous age-gap relationship with five lovers, legally married to one of them, a 71-year-old retired marine she met over a decade ago.
She credits their support and love for her healing and growth.
TV Personality and Health Issues
Jessica has become a TV personality in the US after making her debut on the show ‘Freak Show’ in 2012.
Her prominent facial hair is linked to her PCOS and fibromyalgia, which has caused her back and leg problems, bloating, and soreness.
Due to botched surgeries, she now has a permanent limp.
