The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, will tomorrow, Thursday, February 3, 2022, meet with stakeholders in the local council, as part of ongoing drive for the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise across the country.
In a statement by the Electoral Officer, Oredo LGA, Ikpe Emmanuel Benson, and signed by the Assistant Electoral Officer, Admin, Mrs. Osakue N.S, the electoral body said the stakeholders’ meeting will take place at INEC Office, along Ekenwan Road, by 11. am.
She noted, “As you are aware, the Independent National Electoral Commission is undergoing the Continuous Voters Registration exercise nationwide, in preparation for the 2023 General Elections and Issuing of Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
“As a result, the electoral body will meet with the major stakeholders in the LGA at the INEC Office, Ekenwan Road by Asoro Slope, Benin City on 3rd February 2022 by 11 am.”
