“It seems to me that such understanding exists,” Putin said, reflecting on the American awareness of the difficult decisions surrounding Ukraine.

The discussion between Putin and Lukashenko took place in Kyrgyzstan, where the Russian leader is currently on an official visit.

Lukashenko joined the talks on November 26, according to reports from the Telegram channel Pul Pervogo.
