Virginia Giuffre’s powerful and tragic story is set to reach the public in a posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice.
Giuffre, who died at the age of 41, completed the manuscript before her death, leaving behind an unflinching account of her years as a victim of sex trafficking.
The book provides a candid and harrowing look into her life under paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, exposing disturbing details about her alleged experiences with high-profile figures, including Prince Andrew.
Explosive Allegations Against Prince Andrew
Within the 400-page autobiography, Giuffre reportedly details a chilling encounter with Prince Andrew, claiming that he considered having sex with her as his “birthright” when she was just 17.
She recalls him allegedly saying “thank you” in a “clipped British accent” after the encounter, and Maxwell praising her afterward with, “You did well, the Prince had fun.”
Prince Andrew has consistently denied any sexual contact with Giuffre, though he agreed to an out-of-court settlement in February 2022 for a reported £12 million.
Despite the settlement, allegations dating back to 2001 continue to shadow him, keeping the controversy very much alive.
Giuffre’s First Alleged Meeting With Andrew
According to reports, Giuffre’s memoir recounts her first alleged meeting with Prince Andrew on March 10, 2001.
She described flying from Tangiers, Morocco, to London with Epstein and Maxwell, before being taken to Maxwell’s Belgravia home.
Maxwell allegedly helped Giuffre choose her outfit and even asked Andrew to guess her age, which he allegedly placed correctly at 17.
The memoir promises a detailed account of that encounter and sheds light on the surrounding context of Epstein and Maxwell’s trafficking operations.
A Life Marked by Struggle and Advocacy
Giuffre’s life was marked by early trauma. Born in California in 1983, she was sexually abused as a child and later became a runaway, living in foster homes and on the streets by age 14.
At 16, her father’s work at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club led to a job as a locker room attendant, where she reportedly met Maxwell, who then recruited her to work as a massage therapist for Epstein.
Despite her harrowing experiences, Giuffre became a tireless advocate for other alleged victims, using her voice to fight for justice and shine a light on the abuses she endured.
She was found dead at her farm in Neergabby, Australia, where she had lived for several years, leaving behind a legacy of courage and advocacy.
Memoir Promises New Details About Epstein and Maxwell
Publishers Alfred A. Knopf say the memoir contains “intimate, disturbing, and heartbreaking” insights into Giuffre’s life with Epstein, Maxwell, and their circle of well-known associates.
The book is the first time Giuffre speaks publicly about her experiences with Prince Andrew following the 2022 settlement.
The memoir is set for release in October, offering a deeply personal and revealing look into Giuffre’s life, her fight for justice, and the broader world of Epstein and Maxwell’s criminal network.
