The Distressed 911 Call
Whyte’s voice shook with fear as he begged for help during a desperate 911 call obtained by TMZ.
The 25-year-old repeatedly pleaded for someone to come quickly, struggling to give an address and sounding overwhelmed as he cried out for assistance.
When the operator called him back, he continued urging emergency responders to hurry.
First Responders Make a Tragic Discovery
Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and medics arrived at the home in Lauderdale Lakes to find Girlalala—identified in reports as a 21-year-old transgender woman—sitting in the front seat of a Tesla with gunshot wounds.
She was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, but doctors were unable to save her.
Officers found a firearm at the scene and took Whyte into custody.
Whyte Faces a Serious Charge
Whyte, a former college football player with a previous domestic violence arrest in 2022, was later charged with first-degree murder.
A judge ordered that he remain behind bars without bond.

In a statement shared with Local 10, her family expressed deep gratitude for the prayers and support they’ve received, adding that they now hope justice will be fully served.
Preparations for her funeral on December 5 are underway, and a GoFundMe created by Chaddie Harrison has surpassed its $25k goal, now reaching nearly $29k.
A Celebrity Tribute
Rapper JT, formerly of City Girls, contributed $12,500 to the fundraiser and shared a heartfelt tribute online.
She praised Girlalala’s energy, kindness, and spirit, while also urging people not to dismiss or mock stories involving domestic violence—especially when the victims are Black or transgender women.
Her message emphasized the importance of compassion, awareness, and protection for marginalized communities.
A Broader Issue
According to the Human Rights Campaign, Black transgender women accounted for almost half of the 36 known killings of trans and gender-nonconforming people between 2023 and 2024—numbers that highlight ongoing risks faced by the community.

Just weeks before her death, Girlalala tweeted that she was staying home after “doing time,” and in July she mentioned an arrest related to a “fraud” charge—brief glimpses into challenges she had faced earlier in the year.
